Located 5 kilometers north-west of the city of Melbourne, Brunswick North Primary School has served the local community since 1926.

 

Student diversity is one of our great strengths; the school’s friendly and caring environment is another. Students from a range of cultural backgrounds work together at our school in an environment of tolerance and understanding.

 

We provide a comprehensive curriculum that embraces the Victorian Essential Learning Standards. Specialist programs such as The Arts, Information and Communication Technology, Library, Music, Physical Education and Italian are provided to all students. Our facilities are excellent, including an extensive computer network throughout the school.

We believe that successful schooling starts early. We have a stand-alone Prep class which emphasizes growth for early learners in a positive and caring environment, with a strong focus on Early Years Literacy and Numeracy strategies. Reading Recovery supports students in Year 1 who are having difficulty mastering reading.
