At Brunswick North Primary School, students are provided with a strong foundation in numeracy which will help them to develop a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards maths. Teachers aim to instil in students an understanding of what it means to work mathematically, using examples relevant to real life situations. They utilise a wide range of teaching styles to develop thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
Mathletics is a web-based learning program, which integrates home and school mathematics learning via the Internet. Mathletics is syllabus-based from Foundation to Year 12 and is currently used in over 3,000 schools. Your child accesses Mathletics with a unique username and password.
