Inquiry
"Tell me and I forget, show me and I remember, involve me and I understand." – Benjamin Franklin
Inquiry learning is all about building lifelong learners. It gives students the skills and abilities to take control of their own learning and gives them time to study, learn and think more deeply.
At Brunswick North Primary School Inquiry brings together a range of learning areas including history, cultural studies, geography, economics and science. Incursions, excursions and research stimulate interest and curiosity. Our integrated approach is based on the e5 planning model: Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate and Evaluate. Students are encouraged to pose questions, critically analyse information, debate points of interest, develop empathy and utilise feedback to produce high quality work.
